« Vous ne devez pas avoir de relations avec votre petite-fille, fille de votre fils ou de votre fille; ce serait une atteinte à votre propre honneur. Quels sont les partenaires sexuels autorisés (v. 6-18) et quelles sont les pratiques prohibées (v. 19-23)? Les v. 2-5 mettent solennellement en garde le peuple d'Israël contre les pratiques égyptiennes et surtout contre celles des Cananéens, ses voisins immédiats.
