C'est « l'heure » d'un discernement entre ce monde-ci, marqué par la gloire humaine, les ténèbres, le mensonge et la mort; et un monde autre, celui de la gloire divine, de la lumière, de la vérité et de la vie éternelle. Celui qui accepte de suivre Jésus en donnant sa vie pour les autres, entre de plain-pied dans la présence de Dieu. La mort de Jésus oblige à prendre position: échec ou victoire?
