Cependant Le Seigneur manifeste la fidélité de son amour pour son peuple. Il ne se lasse pas d'espérer son bonheur. Ceux qui espèrent en lui auront la parole du Seigneur pour guider leurs pas. Ils ne s'égareront plus vers de faux dieux. Leur monde sera harmonieux, le Seigneur assurera leur prospérité, mais il faut pour cela que s'écroulent toutes leurs fausses sécurités. Ces paroles d'Ésaïe rappellent l'invitation pressante que Moïse adresse au peuple pour qu'il fasse le choix de la vie et du bonheur, au lieu de prendre la route qui conduit à la mort et au malheur (Deut 30.15-20). L'insistance de Dieu manifeste son désir de conduire ceux qui croient en lui vers des solutions justes et de leur éviter les impasses. le Seigneur espère toujours vous accorder son appui, il voudrait se lever pour vous prendre en pitié.
