فَأخبَرَهَا بِكُلِّ سِرِّهِ وَقَالَ: «لَمْ تَلْمَسْ شَفرَةُ حِلَاقَةٍ رَأسِي، فَأنَا نَذِيرٌ للهِ مُنْذُ وِلَادَتِي. فَإذَا حُلِقَ شَعْرُ رَأسِي، أفْقِدُ قُوَّتِي، وَأصِيرُ ضَعِيفًا كَأيِّ إنْسَانٍ آخَرَ.»
