وَفِي اليَوْمِ التَّالِي، سَألَ المَلِكُ أسْتِيرَ ثَانِيَةً كَمَا فَعَلَ فِي اليَوْمِ الأوَّلِ لِلوَلِيمَةِ: «مَا هِيَ أُمنِيَتُكِ أيَّتُهَا المَلِكَةُ أسْتِيرُ؟ فَسَأُعْطِيهَا لَكِ، وَمَا هِيَ طِلبَتُكِ؟ حَتَّى لَوْ طَلَبتِ نِصْفَ مَملَكَتِي فَسَأُعْطِيكِ مَا تَطْلُبِينَ.»
