Arabic Bible Life (Targamet El Hayah) (LA)
What Does This Mean?
In this verse, Paul is sending greetings to the church in Rome from some of his friends and helpers. Gaius, who has hosted Paul and the church, sends his regards, as does Erastus, a city official, and Quartus, another brother in Christ.
Explained for Children
Imagine you're on a trip, and your friend's mom gives you a place to stay. At the end of your visit, she tells you to say hi to everyone back home for her. That's what Gaius is doing here! He's saying hello through Paul to all his friends in Rome.
Historical Background
This verse is from the Epistle of Paul to the Romans, written around AD 57-58 when Paul was in Corinth. The letter is addressed to the Christian community in Rome and includes personal greetings from fellow believers who are traveling with or supporting Paul's ministry.
Living It Out Today
