ولمّا طلَعَ الصّبحُ تَشاورَ رُؤساءُ الكَهنَةِ والشّيوخُ ومُعَلّمو الشّريعةِ وجَميعُ أعضاءِ المَجلِسِ، ثُمّ أوثَقوا يَسوعَ وأخَذوهُ وسَلّموهُ إلى بيلاطُسَ.
