فذَهبَ هامانُ وقالَ لِلمَلِكِ أحشويروشَ: «يُوجَدُ شعبٌ مُنتَشِرٌ مُتَفَرِّقٌ بَينَ الشُّعوبِ في جميعِ أقاليمِ مَملكتِكَ، قوانينُهُم مخُالِفةٌ لِتِلكَ الشُّعوبِ، ولا هُم يَعمَلونَ بِقوانينِ المَلِكِ، فلا ينفَعُ المَلِكَ أنْ يترُكَهُم.
