فَقَالَ لَهُمْ بُولُسُ: «ضَرَبُونَا جَهْرًا غَيْرَ مَقْضِيٍّ عَلَيْنَا، وَنَحْنُ رَجُلَانِ رُومَانِيَّانِ، وَأَلْقَوْنَا فِي ٱلسِّجْنِ. أَفَٱلْآنَ يَطْرُدُونَنَا سِرًّا؟ كَلَّا! بَلْ لِيَأْتُوا هُمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ وَيُخْرِجُونَا».
