فقالَ أَبْشالومُ لِخُدَّامِه: «أُنظُروا! إِنَّ حَقلَ يوآبَ بِجانِبِ حَقْلي، وإِنَّ لَه هُناكَ شَعيرًا. فٱذهَبوا وأَحرِقوه بِالنَّار». فأَحرَقَ خُدَّامُ أَبْشالومُ الحَقلَ بِالنَّار.
