قَالَ هَذَا لِأنَّ يَسُوعَ كَانَ قَدْ أمَرَ الرُّوحَ النَّجِسَ بِأنْ يَخْرُجَ. وَقَدْ تَمَلَّكَهُ الرُّوحُ الشِّرِّيرُ مَرَّاتٍ كَثِيرَةً، فَكَانُوا يَرْبُطُونَهُ بِسَلَاسِلَ وَقُيُودٍ، وَيَضَعُونَهُ تَحْتَ الحِرَاسَةِ. لَكِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْسِرُ القُيُودَ، وَيَقتَادُهُ الرُّوحُ الشِّرِّيرُ إلَى البَرِّيَّةِ.
