وَبَارَكَ اللهُ أيُّوبَ فِي النِّهَايَةِ أكْثَرَ مِنَ البِدَايَةِ. فَكَانَ لَهُ أرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ ألْفَ رَأسٍ مِنَ الغَنَمِ وَسِتَّةُ آلَافِ رَأسٍ مِنَ الجِمَالِ وَألفُ زَوْجٍ مِنَ البَقَرِ وَألفُ حِمَارٍ.
