በዚያም ዖዴድ የተባለ የእግዚአብሔር ነቢይ ነበረ፤ ወደ ሰማርያም የሚመጣውን ጭፍራ ሊገናኘው ወጣ፤ እንዲህም አላቸው፤ “እነሆ፥ የአባቶቻችሁ አምላክ እግዚአብሔር ይሁዳን ስለ ተቈጣ በእጃችሁ አሳልፎ ሰጣቸው፤ እናንተም ወደ ሰማይ በሚደርስ ቍጣ ገደላችኋቸው።
