Maar dit was nie die geval met die goewerneurs wat my voorgangers was nie. Hulle het die mense swaar belas. Hulle het behalwe brood en wyn elke dag ook nog 460 gram silwer geëis. Selfs die goewerneurs se amptenare het van die mense misbruik gemaak. Maar ek het nie so opgetree nie omdat ek vir God ontsag het.
