“Egipte, wie was so groot en sterk soos jy? Jy het gedink jy is die sterkste en die beste. Watter boom wat deur die Here geplant is, het so hoog soos jy gegroei, koning van Egipte? Maar jy sal ook so laag daal soos die graf. Jy sal saam met al die ander nasies vernietig word. Jou graf sal tussen al die mense wees wat deur die swaard doodgemaak is. Dit is die uiteinde van die koning van Egipte en sy baie soldate.” Die Here, die God van Esegiël, het dit gesê, en dit sal gebeur.
