What Does This Mean?
This verse tells us that the land of the Amorites was taken by the Israelites and given to the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh as their inheritance. Moses is recounting the history of the Israelites to the next generation, emphasizing the fulfillment of God's promise to give them land.
