Revelation 16:5
Bashkir 2014 - Инжил Башҡортча
What Does This Mean?
In this verse, an angel praises God for His justice and righteousness in judging the world. The angel recognizes God's eternal nature and acknowledges that He is just in all of His actions.
Explained for Children
Imagine you're playing a game with your friends, and someone cheats. You tell a grown-up, who then decides to stop the cheater from winning. Just like how the grown-up was fair by stopping the cheating, this verse shows an angel saying that God is always fair when He judges people.
Historical Background
The Book of Revelation was written by John around 96 AD during Emperor Domitian's reign. The audience was primarily Christian communities facing persecution and seeking reassurance about God’s ultimate justice and sovereignty over the world.
Living It Out Today
When you see injustice in your community or school, remember that while it might seem unfair now, there is a higher sense of justice. Trusting in this belief can provide comfort and hope during difficult times.
