وَظَلَّ شَمْشُونُ رَاقِداً حَتَّى مُنْتَصَفِ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ هَبَّ وَخَلَعَ مِصْرَاعَيْ بَوَّابَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ بِقَائِمَتَيْهَا وَقُفْلِهَا، وَوَضَعَهَا عَلَى كَتِفَيْهِ وَصَعِدَ بِهَا إِلَى قِمَّةِ الْجَبَلِ مُقَابِلَ حَبْرُونَ.
