وَكَانَ جَمِيعُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ، غُرَبَاءَ وَمُوَاطِنِينَ، مَعَ شُيُوخِهِمْ وَعُرَفَائِهِمْ وَقُضَاتِهِمْ يَقِفُونَ إِلَى جَانِبَيْ تَابُوتِ عَهْدِ الرَّبِّ فِي مُوَاجَهَةِ الْكَهَنَةِ اللاَّوِيِّينَ حَامِلِي التَّابُوتِ. وَقَفَ نِصْفُهُمْ أَمَامَ جَبَلِ جِرِزِّيمَ، وَوَقَفَ النِّصْفُ الآخَرُ أَمَامَ جَبَلِ عِيبَالَ تَنْفِيذاً لِتَعْلِيمَاتِ مُوسَى عَبْدِ الرَّبِّ السَّابِقَةِ الَّتِي أَصْدَرَهَا بِشَأْنِ بَرَكَةِ الشَّعْبِ.
