هَلْ أَفْرَايِمُ ابْنٌ أَثِيرٌ لَدَيَّ؟ أَلَيْسَ هُوَ ابْناً مُسِرّاً؟ لأَنِّي مَعَ كَثْرَةِ تَنْدِيدِي بِهِ فَإِنِّي مَازِلْتُ أَذْكُرُهُ، لِذَلِكَ يَشْتَاقُ قَلْبِي إِلَيْهِ، وَأَكِنُّ لَهُ الرَّحْمَةَ»، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ.
