وَفِي الشَّهْرِ الثَّانِي مِنَ السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ مِنْ رُجُوعِهِمْ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللهِ، ابْتَدَأَ زَرُبَّابِلُ بْنُ شَأَلْتِئِيلَ ويَشُوعُ بْنُ يُوصَادَاقَ، وَبَقِيَّةُ أَقْرِبَائِهِمْ مِنَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَاللاَّوِيِّينَ، وَسَائِرُ الْقَادِمِينَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ، بِالْعَمَلِ فِي بِنَاءِ الْهَيْكَلِ، فَأَقَامُوا اللاَّوِيِّينَ، الْبَالِغِينَ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً فَمَا فَوْقُ، لِلإِشْرَافِ عَلَى الْعَمَلِ فِي هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ.
