لَكِنَّ شَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ تَمَرَّدُوا عَلَيَّ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ وَلَمْ يُمَارِسُوا فَرَائِضِي، وَتَنَكَّرُوا لأَحْكَامِي الَّتِي إِنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا إِنْسَانٌ يَحْيَا، وَنَجَّسُوا أَيَّامَ سُبُوتِي كَثِيراً. فَقُلْتُ: سَأَسْكُبُ غَضَبِي عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ لأُمِيتَهُمْ.
