فَاسْتَدْعَى الْمَلِكُ يَهُويَادَاعَ رَئِيسَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَسَأَلَهُ: «لِمَاذَا لَمْ تَطْلُبْ مِنَ اللاَّوِيِّينَ أَنْ يَجْمَعُوا مِنْ بَنِي يَهُوذَا وَأُورُشَلِيمَ الضَّرِيبَةَ الَّتِي فَرَضَهَا مُوسَى عَبْدُ الرَّبِّ وَجَمَاعَةُ إِسْرَائِيلَ لِصِيَانَةِ خَيْمَةِ الشَّهَادَةِ؟».
