Arabic KEH Ketab El Hayat (كتاب الحياة)
وَقَالَ شَاوُلُ لِدَاوُدَ: «إِنَّنِي أَبْغِي أَنْ أُزَوِّجَكَ مِنِ ابْنَتِي الْكَبِيرَةِ مَيْرَبَ، شَرِيطَةَ أَنْ تَكُونَ بَطَلاً وَتُحَارِبَ حُرُوبَ الرَّبِّ» فَقَدْ حَدَّثَ شَاوُلُ نَفْسَهُ قَائِلاً: «لاَ أَحْمِلُ أَنَا جَرِيرَةَ قَتْلِهِ بَلْ يَقْتُلُهُ الْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ».
