وَكَانَ لِلْمَلِكِ أُسْطُولٌ بَحَرِيٌّ تِجَارِيٌّ يَعْمَلُ بِالْمُشَارَكَةِ مَعَ أُسْطُولِ حِيرَامَ. فَكَانَ هَذَا الأُسْطُولُ التِّجَارِيُّ يَأْتِي مَرَّةً كُلَّ ثَلاَثِ سَنَوَاتٍ مُحَمَّلاً بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْعَاجِ وَالْقُرُودِ وَالطَّوَاوِيسِ وَيُفَرِّغُهَا فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ.
