فَقَالَ الْمَلَاكُ لِمَنُوحَ: ”حَتَّى وَلَوِ انْتَظَرْتُ لَا آكُلُ مِنْ طَعَامِكَ. أَمَّا إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْمَلُ قُرْبَانًا يُحْرَقُ، فَقَدِّمْهُ لِلْمَوْلَى.“ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَنُوحُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ مَلَاكٌ.
