فَقَالَ الشَّعْبُ: ”تَعَالَوْا نَتَآمَرُ ضِدَّ إِرْمِيَا، فَنَحْنُ دَائِمًا عِنْدَنَا الْأَحْبَارُ لِيُعَلِّمُونَا الشَّرِيعَةَ، وَالْحُكَمَاءُ لِيُعْطُونَا الْمَشُورَةَ، وَالْأَنْبِيَاءُ لِيُكَلِّمُونَا بِرِسَالَةِ اللهِ. تَعَالَوْا نَتَّهِمُهُ بِشَيْءٍ، وَلَا نَسْمَعُ كُلَّ هَذَا الْكَلَامِ مِنْهُ.“
