وَكَانَ أَسْفَلُ الْحَائِطِ أَكْثَرَ سُمْكًا مِنْ أَعْلَاهُ، لِذَلِكَ كَانَتِ الْغُرَفُ الْجَانِبِيَّةُ تَزْدَادُ عَرْضًا كُلَّمَا ارْتَفَعَتْ مِنْ طَابِقٍ إِلَى طَابِقٍ. وَكَانَ هُنَاكَ سُلَّمٌ يَصْعَدُ مِنَ الطَّابِقِ الْأَسْفَلِ إِلَى الطَّابِقِ الْأَعْلَى مُرُورًا بِالْأَوْسَطِ.
