فَلَمَّا فَحَصُوا الْمَوْضُوعَ، وَجَدُوا أَنَّهُ صَحِيحٌ. فَشَنَقُوا الْمُتَآمِرَانِ عَلَى مَشْنَقَةٍ، وَسُجِّلَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ أَمَامَ الْمَلِكِ فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ الْمَمْلَكَةِ.
