وَتَقَدَّمَ هَؤُلَاءِ الرِّجَالُ الْمَذْكُورَةُ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ وَاعْتَنَوْا بِالْأَسْرَى. فَأَعْطَوْا كُلَّ الْعُرْيَانِينَ مِنْهُمْ مِنَ الْغَنِيمَةِ مَلَابِسَ وَأَحْذِيَةً، وَكَذَلِكَ أَطْعَمُوهُمْ وَأَسْقَوْهُمْ وَضَمَّدُوا جُرُوحَهُمْ، وَأَرْكَبُوا كُلَّ الضُّعَفَاءِ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى حَمِيرٍ، وَأَخَذُوهُمْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِمْ فِي أَرِيحَا مَدِينَةِ النَّخْلِ، ثُمَّ رَجَعُوا إِلَى السَّامِرَةِ.
