رُؤَسَاؤُهَا يُصْدِرُونَ أحكَامًا بِالرِّشوَةِ، وَكَهَنَتُهَا يُعَلِّمُونَ مُقَابِلَ أجرٍ، وَأنبِيَاؤُهَا يَتَنَبَّأُونَ عَنِ المُسْتَقْبَلِ بِالمَالِ. وَمَعَ هَذَا يَدَّعُونَ اتِّكَالَهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ وَيَقُولُونَ: «ألَيْسَ اللهُ بَيْنَنَا؟ إذًا لَنْ يُصِيبَنَا أذَىً.»
