وَأرْسَلَ جِدْعُونُ رُسُلًا إلَى كُلِّ أنْحَاءِ مِنْطَقَةِ أفْرَايِمَ الجَبَلِيَّةِ وَقَالَ: «انزِلُوا وَهَاجِمُوا المِدْيَانِيِّينَ، وَسَيطِرُوا عَلَى المِيَاهِ حَتَّى بَيْتِ بَارَةَ وَنَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ.» فَدُعِيَ كُلُّ رِجَالِ قَبِيلَةِ أفْرَايِمَ، وَاستَوْلَوْا عَلَى المِيَاهِ حَتَّى بَارَةَ وَنَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ.
