وَسَبَّبَ اللهُ لَهُمُ الرُّعبَ وَالتَّشْوِيشَ حِينَ رَأوْا بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ. وَهَزَمَهُمْ بَنُو إسْرَائِيلَ هَزِيمَةً تَامَّةً فِي جِبْعُونَ، وَطَارَدُوهُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ الصَّاعِدِ إلَى بَيْتِ حُورُونَ، وَهَزَمُوهُمْ عَلَى امْتِدَادِ الطَّرِيقِ إلَى عَزِيقَةَ وَمَقِّيدَةَ.
