‹أخْرَجْتُ شَعْبِي إسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ مِصْرٍ. لَكِنِّي لَمْ أكُنْ قَدِ اخْتَرْتُ مَدِينَةً مِنْ بَيْنِ قَبَائِلِ إسْرَائِيلَ لِبِنَاءِ بَيْتٍ إكْرَامًا لِاسْمِي. وَلَمْ أكُنْ قَدِ اخْتَرْتُ رَجُلًا لِيَرْأسَ شَعْبِي إسْرَائِيلَ. أمَّا الآنَ فَقَدِ اخْتَرْتُ القُدْسَ مَدِينَةً لِإكْرَامِ اسْمِي وَاختَرْتُ دَاوُدَ لِيَرْأسَ شَعْبِي إسْرَائِيلَ.›
