العَمُّونِيُّونَ يُحارِبُونَ بَنِي إسْرائِيل وَفَعَلَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ الشَّرَّ أمامَ اللهِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى. فَقَدْ عَبَدُوا آلِهَةً زائِفَةً: البَعلَ وَعَشْتارُوثَ، وَآلِهَةَ أرامَ، وَآلِهَةَ صِيدُونَ، وَآلِهَةَ مُوآبَ، وَآلِهَةَ العَمُّونِيِّينَ، وَآلِهَةَ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ. وَتَرَكُوا اللهَ وَلَمْ يَعْبُدُوهُ.
