Jeremiah 44:11
Arabic Bible ERV 2009
What Does This Mean?
This verse is from God, speaking through the prophet Jeremiah. He warns that He will bring harm and destruction to all of Judah because of their disobedience and idol worship.
Explained for Children
Imagine you have a favorite toy that you're not taking care of. Your mom might say, 'If you don't take care of it, I'll have to take it away.' That's like what God is saying to Judah—he's warning them that they'll face consequences for their bad choices.
Historical Background
Jeremiah wrote this around 600 BC. He was speaking to the people of Judah, warning them of God's judgment if they continued their wicked ways. This was a time of political turmoil and religious apostasy in the region.
Living It Out Today
In modern times, a person might ignore their doctor's advice about a serious health condition and face severe consequences. Just as God warned Judah, He also warns us to follow His guidance to avoid harmful outcomes.
