وَكانَ مِنْ نَسلِ هارُونَ بَعضُ الكَهَنَةِ يَسكُنُونَ فِي حُقُولٍ أوْ مُدُنٍ قُرْبَ مُدُنِ الَّلاوِيِّينَ. فَتَمَّ تَحدِيدُ رِجالٍ بِالاسمِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَدِينَةٍ مِنْ هَذِهِ المُدُنِ لِتَوزِيعِ حِصَصِ هَذِهِ العَطايا عَلَى جَمِيعِ الذُّكُورِ مِنْ عائِلاتِ الكَهَنَةِ، وَجَمِيعِ المُسَجَّلَينَ فِي سِجِلِّ أنسابِ اللاويِّينَ.
