وَبَنَى أبراجاً في الصَّحراءِ، وَحَفَرَ أيضاً آباراً كَثِيرَةً في المَناطِقِ الجَبَلِيَّةِ وَفِي السُّهُولِ. وَكانَ لَدَيهِ مُزارِعُونَ فِي الجِبالِ الغَربِيَّةِ وَفِي الأراضِي الخَصبَةِ. وَكانَ لَدَيهِ أيضاً رِجالٌ يَعتَنُونَ بِالكُرُومِ. فَقَدْ كانَ يُحِبُّ الزِّراعَةَ.
