وَلَمَّا ٱنْقَلَبَ رِجَالُ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي ٱلْحَرْبِ ٱبْتَدَأَ بَنْيَامِينُ يَضْرِبُونَ قَتْلَى مِنْ رِجَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ نَحْوَ ثَلَاثِينَ رَجُلًا، لِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا: «إِنَّمَا هُمْ مُنْهَزِمُونَ مِنْ أَمَامِنَا كَٱلْحَرْبِ ٱلْأُولَى».
