فَقِيلَ لِلْغَزِّيِّينَ: «قَدْ أَتَى شَمْشُونُ إِلَى هُنَا». فَأَحَاطُوا بِهِ وَكَمَنُوا لَهُ ٱللَّيْلَ كُلَّهُ عِنْدَ بَابِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ. فَهَدَأُوا ٱللَّيْلَ كُلَّهُ قَائِلِينَ: «عِنْدَ ضَوْءِ ٱلصَّبَاحِ نَقْتُلُهُ».
