وَمَلِكُ عَايٍ عَلَّقَهُ عَلَى ٱلْخَشَبَةِ إِلَى وَقْتِ ٱلْمَسَاءِ. وَعِنْدَ غُرُوبِ ٱلشَّمْسِ أَمَرَ يَشُوعُ فَأَنْزَلُوا جُثَّتَهُ عَنِ ٱلْخَشَبَةِ وَطَرَحُوهَا عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ بَابِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ، وَأَقَامُوا عَلَيْهَا رُجْمَةَ حِجَارَةٍ عَظِيمَةً إِلَى هَذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ.
