Imagine you've been helping your friend build a treehouse, and now it's done. Joshua is like the big brother saying, 'Great job! Now you can go home and enjoy the treehouse you've built for your family.'
Historical Background
This verse is from the Book of Joshua, written by Joshua or a contemporary writer around 1350-1200 BCE. It was written for the Israelites to remind them of God's faithfulness and the fulfillment of His promises after the conquest of Canaan.
