فَكَانَ حِينَ سَمِعَ لَابَانُ خَبَرَ يَعْقُوبَ ٱبْنِ أُخْتِهِ أَنَّهُ رَكَضَ لِلِقَائِهِ وَعَانَقَهُ وَقَبَّلَهُ وَأَتَى بِهِ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ. فَحَدَّثَ لَابَانَ بِجَمِيعِ هَذِهِ ٱلْأُمُورِ.
