وَلَمَّا ٱسْتَيْقَظَ حَافِظُ ٱلسِّجْنِ، وَرَأَى أَبْوَابَ ٱلسِّجْنِ مَفْتُوحَةً، ٱسْتَلَّ سَيْفَهُ وَكَانَ مُزْمِعًا أَنْ يَقْتُلَ نَفْسَهُ، ظَانًّا أَنَّ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ قَدْ هَرَبُوا.
