لِهَذَا السَّبَبِ، الْمَسِيحُ هُوَ وَسِيطُ عَهْدٍ جَدِيدٍ، وَقَدْ مَاتَ لِيَفْدِيَ النَّاسَ مِنْ مَعَاصِيهِمِ الَّتِي ارْتَكَبُوهَا فِي أَيَّامِ الْعَهْدِ الْأَوَّلِ. وَبِذَلِكَ يَنَالُ مَنْ دَعَاهُمُ اللهُ نَصِيبَهُمُ الْأَبَدِيَّ الَّذِي وَعَدَهُمْ بِهِ.
