وَمَعَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَتْرُكِ الْحِكْمَةَ، حَاوَلْتُ أَنْ أَطْرِبَ نَفْسِي بِالْخَمْرِ، وَجَرَّبْتُ أَشْيَاءَ غَبِيَّةً، وَكَانَ قَصْدِي هُوَ أَنْ أَرَى مَا هُوَ نَافِعٌ لِلنَّاسِ لِيَعْمَلُوهُ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا أَثْنَاءَ حَيَاتِهِمْ.
