فَأَجَابَ دَاوُدُ: ”حَسَنًا. أَنَا أَقْطَعُ مَعَكَ عَهْدًا، وَلَكِنِّي أَطْلُبُ مِنْكَ شَيْئًا، وَهُوَ أَنَّكَ عِنْدَمَا تَأْتِي لِتَرَانِي تُحْضِرُ مَعَكَ مِيكَالَ بِنْتَ شَاوُلَ. مِنْ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ لَنْ تَرَانِي.“
