ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمْنُونُ لِتَمَارَةَ: ”هَاتِي الطَّعَامَ إِلَى غُرْفَةِ النَّوْمِ وَقَدِّمِيهِ بِيَدِكِ فَآكُلَ.“ فَأَخَذَتْ تَمَارَةُ الْكَعْكَ الَّذِي عَمِلَتْهُ وَأَحْضَرَتْهُ إِلَى أَمْنُونَ أَخِيهَا فِي غُرْفَةِ النَّوْمِ.
