ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ إِلْيَاسُ: ”يَا أَلِيشَعُ، اِنْتَظِرْ أَنْتَ هُنَا، لِأَنَّ اللهَ أَرْسَلَنِي إِلَى أَرِيحَا.“ فَقَالَ أَلِيشَعُ: ”أُقْسِمُ بِاللّٰهِ وَبِحَيَاتِكَ، إِنِّي لَا أَتْرُكُكَ.“ فَذَهَبَا مَعًا إِلَى أَرِيحَا.
