وَلَمَّا رَأَى كُلُّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّ الْمَلِكَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ لَهُمْ، قَالُوا لَهُ: ”لَا نَصِيبَ لَنَا فِي بَيْتِ دَاوُدَ، وَلَا عَلَاقَةَ بِنَا مَعَ ابْنِ يَسَّى! اِرْجِعُوا إِلَى دِيَارِكُمْ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ! دَبِّرْ أُمُورَ بَيْتِكَ يَا دَاوُدُ!“ فَرَجَعَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى دِيَارِهِمْ.
